The Star Spangled Banner

Im not American or even attached to America but this struck me as a good example of Na

tional Identity and how the words and tune pull everyone together of that nation
Here it is " Oh Say can you see
By the Dawns early lights
what so proudly we hailed
at the twilights last gleaming
whose broad stripes and bright stripesthrough the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming
and the rockets red glare the bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there
Oh say does that star spangled banner
yet wave o'er the land of free and the home of the brave



So the imagery suggest through all the bloodshed turmoil ,the flag can still be seen glorifying the brotherhood of the nation,one aim and object,freedom and with the light of the b0mbs and rockets its image is captured as a beacon of strength.Stars in the anthem represent the states but in spiritual terms they represent souls and God the Supreme Soul.So in meditation we see ourselves as a star a point of light all brothers united under the One God the father the Supreme Star
