The lastest trend in the world today, due too obvious problems of pollution and the Greenhouse effect, is the recycling and reducing of waste. Now there is even a cost attributed to the amount of carbon produced by an individual ,company or country and carbon taxes have been implemented. This is a very great shift in human consciousness. In the same way if you are on a spiritual path, the practictioner  needs too reduce waste and also recycle it too our original elements of nature. Waste occurs due too excess or materialism, so now the soul must return too simple living and original values, without the pollution of impure thoughts and values (i.e lust anger greed attachment ego), these reduce the value or concentration of the mind and intellect, soul the soul and our life becomes mundane instead of invaluable. Meditation on God will provide recycling and purification of impure attitudes and actions
